About the Guest
Jenny Hu, MD, is an ophthalmologist specializing in premium cataract surgery, oculoplastic surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and refractive surgeries like LASIK and SMILE. She graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Minors in Global Health and Chemistry and earned her Medical Degree from the University of California, San Diego, along with a Master in Clinical Research. Dr. Hu has led impactful health projects, including the Border Health Project and advocacy work at Capitol Hill to improve eye care accessibility for veterans.
Dr. Hu is passionate about providing personalized vision care, helping patients achieve their goals, and advancing treatments in ophthalmology. She is fluent in Mandarin and proficient in Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys figure skating, yoga, art, and exploring food and travel.

Lauren Papanos, MS, RD, CSSD, is board-certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. She received her bachelor’s degree in food, nutrition, and dietetics, with a minor in combined sciences from Stephen F. Austin State University. She also holds a master’s degree in Nutritional Sciences with a specialty in integrative nutrition from Stephen F. Austin State University. Lauren specializes in integrative nutrition, specifically related to hormones, metabolism, digestion, and wellness.
Romana Brennan, MS, RD, is board-certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. She received her bachelor’s degree in Integrative Biology, with a minor in Spanish from the University of California, Berkeley. She holds a master’s degree in Nutrition, Healthspan, and Longevity from the University of Southern California. Romana specializes in integrative nutrition, focusing on hormones, metabolism, digestion, and wellness. She also works at the UCLA Center for Human Nutrition on both the clinical and research teams.
